| Fellowship Charitos, Inc. is an association for men, women and married couples who desire to pursue their vocations individually, rather than through a religious order. Members live at home and worship in the denominations of their choice. Unlike traditional religious societies, the Fellowship does not require members to undertake the greatest level of commitment. Each member selects the appropriate level and can remain there indefinitely. The Fellowship is seeking new Readers and Members. | READERS. Some persons like to support the Fellowship, but are not interested in joining it. They receive The Fellowship Flag every month. | MINISTERS. Ministers are servants who have taken some form of the religious vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience for a limited period of no longer than five years. They may attend and speak at Board of Directors meetings and may also guide FRIENDS, ASSOCIATES AND SERVANTS.. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| FORUM MEMBERS. Fellowship Charitos manages a site for dialogue amongst Solitaries, Anchorites, Hermits, and other Eremites, as well as lay persons interested in prayer and spirituality. Forum members are encouraged to join Fellowship Charitos, but are not required to do so. To participate in the dialogue, click on the link below, then on the "join" button. Persons new to Yahoo will be asked to complete a profile for identification purposes, but anonymity can be protected with screen names, if desired. | PROFESSED MINISTERS. Professed Ministers have made life-professions of religious vows. They are ex-officio members of the Board of Directors and are entitled to support for their ministries through the Fellowship. | ELDER PROFESSED MINISTERS. The Elder Professed are our leaders. They create Chapters within the Fellowship, guiding its members through their vocational journey. Elder Professed Ministers are vital members of the Board of Directors. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| FRIENDS. About half our Readers are Friends, our prayer support and rooting section. They may belong to any religious faith. | * For those desiring a religious vocation as a Solitary (or hermit, anchorite, etc.), the memberships can function as stepping stones. Friends would be equivalent to Postulents; Associates like Novices; and Servants like Tertiaries or non-professed Oblates.. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ASSOCIATES. Associates are Friends, who are corporate members and vote on matters of importance to the Fellowship. They engage in a servant or contemplative ministry and participate in Fellowship activities, including the guiding of FRIENDS. | SERVANTS. Servants are seriously engaged with their vocation within the Fellowship setting. They follow a "Rule of Life" and are guided by a Spiritual Director. They may receive funds from the Fellowship to distribute to needy persons within their ministries, guide FRIENDS and ASSOCIATES, and also attend Board of Directors meetings. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
